Charli XCX, English singer and songwriter is set to play a metaverse concert on June 17 to be hosted exclusively on the Roblox platform.
The concert will kick off at 7pm US Eastern time and will be the culmination of a five-week virtual event that compromises of mini-games and other digital challenges. Players will be able to create pop star avatars and send them into the “Superstar Galaxy.”
By completing various tasks, players can rank up on the leaderboard and the winners will be given a special invitation to join Charli XCX on the virtual stage. Her avatar will provide tips and encouragement and fans will be able to watch replays of the performance throughout the weekend.
XCX Vs Z Flip3
The project is made in partnership with Samsung, and Charli XCX is now a “Team Galaxy ambassador”. A press release also reported that players will navigate the space using a virtual Galaxy Z Flip3.
Charli XCX commented that the partnership “will give [her] community the access and ability to experience [her] in ways they previously have not been able to, which is extremely exciting!”
Elsewhere in the Superstar Galaxy, fans can also explore a virtual space station using their very own Galaxy Z Flip3 smartphone. They’ll be guided by virtual Z Flip3 device and will receive messages like tips from Charli XCX to complete challenges, explore the galaxy and more.
